OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (OT)
I am currently the Occupational Therapist for the district. I began serving DCBE in October of 2018 as the Occupational Therapist. I have a Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from Belmont University. During my OT education, I completed a 3 month field work rotation in the Dickson Co Schools and completed a 4 month independent project in the Dickson Co Schools. I have been an Occupational Therapist for 10 years now. I worked in a rehab and outpatient setting previous to working in the schools. I am in my 4th year serving as the Occupational Therapist for Dickson schools.

CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT (COTA)
I am currently a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for DCBE. I began working for the district in 2020. I graduated from Creek Wood High School in 2012 and went on to receive my Associates in Applied Science from Nashville State Community College with a completion in the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program. I then completed my Bachelors in Applied Exercise Science at Austin Peay State University.

I graduated from Dickson County High School in 1994 (ahhhh DC!!!) and received an AAS degree and State licensure in Occupational Therapy in 1998. I began my career at Horizon Medical center treating both adults and children and soon discovered pediatrics was my calling. I was blessed to be the first member of OT/PT to staff to be hired by the county and have worked here, in the school setting since August of 2000.

PHYSICAL THERAPIST (PT)
I am currently the Physical Therapist for the district. I began serving for DCBE as the Physical Therapist in 2017. I earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Belmont University in 2006. I worked for 10 years with adults and children in an outpatient physical therapy clinic prior to coming to work for the school system.

PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT (PTA)
I am currently working as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) for DCBE. I began full time in August 2003 and had served on a contract the prior school year. I graduated from Volunteer State Community College with an Associates Degree of Applied Science in Physical Therapy in 1992. I previously worked at NHC Rehabilitation in the Physical Therapy Department, specializing in skilled care In-Patient and Out-Patient clinic and home care for 10 1/2 years.
