Director & Coordinators
"The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn".
I am currently serving as the Special Education Coordinator for DCBOE. I began teaching in Dickson County as a special education teacher in 2014. I have an undergrad in Special Education K-12, a masters in Vision Impairments, a masters in Applied Behavior Analysis, and Ed. S. in Accountability and Instructional Leadership. I am a Certified Teacher of Students with Vision Impairments and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
"Inclusion is a mindset. It is a way of thinking. It is not a program that we run or a classroom in our school or a favor we do for someone. Inclusion is who we are. It is who we must strive to be."
Personal Mission Statement: I'm living each day with the hope that when I meet God, He will say "Well done, my good and faithful servant."
